Competition leads to innovation. This is a general rule on which many systems are still based. Therefore, competition leads people to innovate and find new solutions for problems. This fact can also be applied within the automotive industry, because there are many variants and models, with different functions, which are similar outside, but inside they are totally different. In our century, it has become more an aspect of taste, but it is not possible to omit the clear advantages and disadvantages of a particular model.

Traction is one of the most important aspects of a car, an aspect that should influence the decision to buy a car or not. The traction and propulsion are, in principle, the same two forces. When using one of those two terms you refer to a force that is exercised on an object to determine its movement, it is small.

2.2. Rear wheel drive VS. Front traction – The advantages and disadvantages of rear -wheel drive

Front traction is very often encountered in European cars, being considered the standard of industry. Basically, a car with this type of traction has only the front wheels set by the engine, the rear ones only following the car, which are pulled by the traction force.

The rear wheel cars are considered by some drivers to be the only way to really feel behind the wheel. Although they present some risks, it is more exciting to drive a car with a traction on the back. These vehicles no longer have the front wheels on the engine, but on the back.

A big difference between these two types of cars is their operational principle, but another method can be distinguished is the name itself. There are two terms that can designate and they are traction AND propulsion. The “traction” refers to cars only with energy in the front wheels, while the “propulsion” refers to cars with power in the rear wheels. In theory, if you say “rear -wheel drive” it is grammarly wrong, but it has become such a common term that this variant is also accepted.

As mentioned above, the evolution of this market has made it possible to make the purchase decision based not only on functionality, but also on preferences. This is very advantageous for the entire market of Car salesThere are enough models to satisfy any person.

When it comes to advantages and disadvantages, these models are comparable to each other, having very common, but also great differences.

2.1. Front traction vs. Rear wheel drive – The advantages and disadvantages of the front -wheel drive

Now that you have had the opportunity to generally examine the front -wheel drive cars, it is time to see what is different from those with rear -wheel drive. Below, you will find the strengths, but also the minors of this vehicle.

The advantages they are as follows:

  • The price: this aspect is very important and the difference between these two variants is rather significant;
  • Versatility – front wheel cars have excellent performance on any type of road;
  • Slightly recreated in the case of Skid;
  • Better behavior in the snow – due to the greater weight on the face it has a greater braking power, so it is much easier to manage in winter.

Disadvantages These are these:

  • The distribution of inefficient mass;
  • Subvision: it is due to the distribution of inefficient weight. After a turn, the car tends to maintain its direction;
  • The wear of the front wheels more than the rear.

2.2. Rear wheel drive VS. Front traction – The advantages and disadvantages of rear -wheel drive

Propulsion cars on the back receive a rather bad reputation, being classified as uncertain, but things are not so.

The advantages on a car with rear -wheel drive:

  • Greater precision, due to the rear wheels that have assumed the role of propulsion of the car;
  • The car is more balanced;
  • Planetaries are consumed more hard.

Disadvantages are represented by the following:

  • The panoramic tendency – is applied only in the case of sudden maneuvers;
  • Loss of control – even if the car is more balanced, its trend is to skip the back of the corners;
  • Ice -performance problems or snow.

In conclusion, each of these two variants presents its advantages and disadvantages. The choice remains at your discretion, taking into account personal preferences. If you look at a car given the functionality, you recommend the front wheel drive and if you are interested in the most pleasant experience at the wheel, it is worth trying a rear propulsion. In general, both ideas are going when I recommend a vehicle to someone.
